Bite Beauty SPF 15 Sheer Balm Sheer Looks Pigmented to Me - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Before I tried on Bite Beauty's new SPF 15 Sheer Balm in Violet ($nineteen; bachelor in eight shades), I was expecting something shiny and almost transparent like the Guerlain Rouge G Serie Noirs. After that showtime swipe, though, I was similar WHOA! Hello, pigment!
Violet sure doesn't look semi-sheer, not that I'm complaining at all. My lips are rather pigmented, but Violet looks a lot like a full coverage lipstick with a semi-matte end to me. If the other shades are this rich, maybe the line should be called something like "SPF xv Super Pigmented Matte Balm!" instead.
Unscented, with a mild brownish carbohydrate season, medium-weight Violet does experience thick like a lip lotion, and it doesn't permit for a lot of sideslip. Since I like to rub my lips together, that'due south not one of my favorite things most it, but I do notwithstanding habiliment lip balms even (specially on the weekends, and while I slumber) fifty-fifty though they're thick.
I get about three hours of vesture fourth dimension from Violet, which is pretty good for a balm. I wish that Bite would brand information technology a little more than hydrating, though, because the formula leaves my lips feeling a touch dry.
